Pushkar is a small city of Rajasthan which is known for its sand dunes and very famous temples and Pushkar Lake. People visit thousands in this city during the occasion of Karthik Purnima but the city has many other activities to offer which can make your trip different and more interesting. Pushkar is a place where one can see the beauty of the Thar Desert through Camel safari and one can get to see the beautiful desert through it. It is one of the most popular activities in Pushkar and people can enjoy the golden sand dunes through it.

People who are looking for adventures can hike to the Ratnagiri Hill which is the settle point of the famous Savitri Temple and from here one can see the panoramic view of the city of Pushkar from here. This is a place where one can enjoy sunrise too.

Ride to Ajaypal Ji Temple

Located about 10 km from Pushkar, Ajaypal Ji Temple was built by Ajaypal the founder of Ajmer City in the 11th century. You can take bikes on the street are narrow and is surrounded by rocks and hills all around. Along the route, you will come to various villages.

This 10 km route from Pushkar is amazing where you will encounter forests, sand dunes and finally hills. August- October is the best time to visit the temple.

You can learn traditional Rajasthani style cooking in Pushkar. There are a number of centers in Pushkar that offer cooking classes.
