History of Deogarh

Deogarh was mostly ruled by 'the Rawal' as Maharana of Udaipur bestowed them this feudal estate. 'The Rawal' was the tribal chief among the sixteen umraos (feudal barons) of the King. Rawal Dwarka Das Ji made a the Deogarh Mahal for his personal residence in 1670 AD.
