Jaisamand Lake- The Jaisamand Lake, also known as Dhebar Lake is Asia's second-largest artificial lake. It is sorrrounded by the Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctury and has an area of 87 km2. The maximum length of the lake is 9miles and average depth is 102 feet. This huge lake was built by Maharana Jai Singh in the year 1698.

Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary– The Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the shore of the Jaisamand Lake was established in the year 1957 and is spread across an area of 162 kmĀ² that is well protected.

This sanctuary is thickly covered by the teak forest. The animals found in this sanctuary are four-horned antelope, panther, chital, leopard, deer, wild boar, spotted deer, beer mongoose, crocodiles, turtles, fish and several species of migratory birds.
