The Hotel Water Habitat Retreat is a heritage hotel in Jodhpur. A sprawling summer palace,previously known as Bijolai summer Palace, was built in the early 19th century by Maharaja Tahkat Singh of Jodhpur to enjoy same fresh and cool air during the chilling hot summer. The retreat, part of a recently renovated area of the Royal Bijolai Summer Palace, has fresh water available throughout the year due to an ingenious water-conscious design. It is an excellent example of traditional rainwater harvesting; though built over 150 years ago, is more in tune with the modern Eco-movement than buildings of today. This Beautiful retreat, surrounded by landscapes, now has been transformed into a heritage and is run by the Alsisar Groups of Hotels to provide its guests with a grand royal hospitality.The beautiful carved balconies, attractive courtyards, open terraces, lovely gardens and comfortable rooms with old design fabrics and antique furniture pleases its guests.
