Bagru is a small but very famous village for its unmatchable age-old wooden block printing. Now Bagru becomes a very popular town due to its ‘Bagru prints’, which is a unique wooden printing technique different from others.

Bagru wooden printing techniques employ wooden blocks where the design is first engraved and then used reputatively on a preferred fabric for an overall design.

This decades-old tradition is famous because of ecological consciousness and the use of traditional dyes. There are dedicated artisans which made this craft still living by using natural colors. The blue color is made from indigo and red from the root of madder. Craft lovers very often visit this place.
