Bikaner Airport or Bikaner Air Force
Nal Airport
is an airport in Bikaner city about 13km away at the Bikaner Air Force Station. It is operated by Airports Authority of India. The civil air terminal was inaugurated on June 29, 2014, by Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje. It was built to connect Bikaner to Jaisalmer city with an interest in boosting tourism between the cities and Rajasthan.

There are only one international airport and 2 national airports which make difficult for a tourist to visit Rajasthan. Air India was invited by the state govt to start to operate the flight’s services to Bikaner and Jaisalmer from Delhi. It is said that the National Carrier accepted the terms and was planning to start service with 50 Seater aircraft from January 2016. But the services have yet not been started.
