Shekhwati is a region that consists of some beautiful towns and it is considered as the most artistic region of Rajasthan. This is a semi-arid historical region located in the northeast part of Rajasthan, India. Its name originated from the Shekhawat Rajputs.
It mostly encompasses the administrative districts of this region covers town like Mandawa, Jhunjhunu, Dundlod, Nawalgarh, Sikar, Fatehpur, and Lakshmangarh.

Talking about Mandawa is a small and wonderful town in the heart of the region. The place is dotted with exquisite havelis and number of palaces like Chokani, Ladia, Binsidhar and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. Visiting Jhunjhunu will take you to  Badalgarh, Khetri Mahal, Behari temple which is famous for old paintings), Qamruddin Shah Ki Darghah, Mertani Baori, Laxminath temple, Khetan haveli, Ishwardas Mohandas haveli, Narsinghdas Tibrewal haveli, Birdhi Chand well and Ajeet Sagar.

Nawalgarh is famous for its finest paintings of the royals. Roop Niwas, Poddar haveli, Saat Haveli, British Clock tower and a few old temples, and forts and a heritage hotel are some of the tourist attractions. The Shekhawati travel and tourism include forts, minor castle, forts, step wells, mosque and royal cenotaphs or chattris.
