Udaipur is one of the most popular cities of Rajasthan is often known with the second name of the “City of Lakes”. The city is also famous like the other cities of Rajasthan and used to be called as the capital of Mewar. Ahar Archaeological Museum

Ahar Archaeological Museum is a great museum exhibiting the very rare collection of the artifacts and objects that dated back to the 10th century and indeed these collections are something to watch out for. The collection includes potteries, coins, iron objects, and huge statues of Lord Buddha and God Surya along with many unique terracotta collections.

Badi Mahal

Badi Mahal is a unique part of the City Palace of Udaipur and is also known as Garden Palace. The palace is located at a height of 87 feet in a centralized position with an exotic garden. The hall of the palace is decorated with exclusive paintings from 18th and 19thcentury.

Bagore Ki Haveli

One of the most beautiful places to visit in Udaipur, Bagore ki Haveli is a beautiful haveli which is located on the waterfront of Lake Pichola. The haveli was built in the 18th century by Amir Chand Badwa, who used to be the Prime Minister of Mewar. The haveli is the Queen of Mewar and houses her costumes and modern art. There are a hundred rooms in the haveli and most of them are decorated with glass work.

Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum

Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum is one of the nice places to visit in Udaipur and the museum exhibits the beautiful folk articles of the state. The articles can range from dresses, musical instruments, paintings, masks, puppets and many others. The museum is specially made to encourage and highlight the folk culture of Mewar.

City Palace Museum Udaipur

The City Palace Museum is also one of the best Udaipur Tourist attractions and one can see for the beautiful rooms that are festooned with fine mirror work and the museum houses the exclusive paintings of the battle of Haldighati that was fought by Maharana Pratap of Mewar and depicts his heroism.

City Palace Udaipur

City Palace Udaipur is one of gorgeous tourist attraction in Udaipur and this is the epitome of royalty and nearly 400 years old. The palace is a splendid architecture that was built by Maharana Udai Singh II. The palace is located on the banks of Lake Pichola and is a great a combination of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles.

Crystal Gallery Udaipur

Crystal Gallery has a rare and exclusive collection of crystals that includes exclusive furniture i.e. Crystal chairs, tables, beds, sofas etc.Maharana Sajjan Singh ordered them from F&C Osler & Co in England in the year 1877. But the saddest part is that Maharana died before these crystals arrived, and these items were overlooked and packed up in boxes for 110 years.

Dil Kushal City Palace Udaipur

Dil Kushal is an exclusive section of the city Palace of Udaipur which was especially dedicated to the royal women of the palace and the interior of the palace is embellished with exquisite mirror work and white marble. The section really looks gorgeous as it is overlooking Lake Pichola and surrounded by beautiful Gardens.

Dudh Talai Musical Garden

Dudh Talai Musical Garden in Udaipur is one of the serene tourist places in Udaipur which is a gorgeous lake surrounded by majestic gardens which are settled on small hillocks. And the lake connects to Lake Pichola and the tourists who visit here can go for boat rides and camel rides, and dine in the cafeterias.

Eklingji Temple Kailashpuri

Eklingji Temple in Udaipur is a temple dedicated to the ruling deity of Mewar dynasty. The ruling deity of this temple is Lord Shiva and the building of the temple complex was started in the year 971 by the Guhila dynasty of Mewar, in honor of their ruling deity Eklingji. The temple dated back to the 15th century and made of marble and granite. It is one of the most famous attractions of Udaipur.

Eklingji Temple Darshan Timings- Devotees are allowed to visit the temple - from 4.15 am to 6.45 am in the morning, 10.30 am to 1.30 pm in the noon and lastly from 5.15 pm to 7.45 pm in the evening.

Fateh Prakash Palace

Fateh Prakash Palace is an extraordinary palace which has been converted in to a heritage hotel and this palace was built by Maharana Fateh Singh, of Mewar and the palace is having a Durbar Hall or the Sabhagaar and the Crystal Gallery, that is decorated with beautiful and rare paintings and this palace hotel is located overlooking Lake Pichola.

Fateh Sagar Lake

Fatah Sagar Lake in Udaipur is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar and the lake is one of the four lakes of Udaipur. There are three visiting areas present surrounding the lake amongst which there are a park, a jet fountain, and an island present and all of the three are extremely beautiful.

Gulab Bagh

Gulab Bagh which is also known as Sajjan Niwas Garden and the garden is spread in the area of more than 100 acres and the garden is known for its countless varieties of roses. And the garden got its name from the abundance of roses and there is also a zoo present here.

Jag Mandir Palace

Jag Mandir is located on the island of the Lake Pichola and also named as the ‘Lake garden palace’. The Sisodia Rajputs made this palace and it is situated in one of the two natural islands of the Pichola lake and this beautiful palace is named after maharaja Jagat Singh.

Jagat Ambika Mata Temple

Jagat Temple in Udaipur is dedicated to Goddess Durga and named as Ambika Mata. The ruling deity of this temples a form of Goddess Durga that belonged to 10 th century and located on the split of a rock and presently the temples is well-maintained by the State Department of Archaeology and Museum, of Rajasthan State. People from far away of the state visit here for its religious significance.

Jagdish Temple Udaipur

The Jagdish Temple is counted one of the major memorials of Rajasthan and the temple is constructed according to the Māru-Gurjara Architecture.  The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the tourists  can see the temple as a beautiful example of architecture festooned with different sculptures made with white marble.

Jaisamand Lake Udaipur

Jaisamand Lake in Udaipur is called as the Asia's second-largest artificial lake and also known as Dhebar Lake. The tourists can also visit the surrounding Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary where they can watch rich flora and fauna. There are 3 islands on Dhebar Lake and has stylish steps that lead to the lake and marble cenotaphs on its bank that are mostly made in the shape of elephants.

Lake Palace

The Lake Palace is a heritage hotel taken over by the Taj Group of Hotels and is also stated as one of the most romantic hotels of the world. Lake Pichola

Pratap Gaurav Kendra

Pratap Gaurav Kendra or Pratap Gaurav Kendra Rashtriya Tirtha is located at Tiger Hills in Udaipur City of Rajasthan. This project was started by Veer Shromani Maharana Pratap Samiti in order to give the information about the legendary King Maharana Pratap of Mewar. The main aim of this place is to promote the historical background of the famous king of Mewar. It is located in the Bargaon area, near Manoharpura, around 9 km from the city. The Kendra has been under construction since 2008 and has been developed at a cost of Rs 100 Crores. 

Raj Angan Udaipur

The Raj Angan is considered as the entrance of the City Palace and also known as the King's Courtyard. This is a dome shaped structure which is built in a Mughal style and was built by Maharana Udai Singh in the year 1572. The place is also known as Gol Mahal and here one can see the beautiful paintings and articles of Maharana Pratap.

Sajjangarh Palace

Sajjangarh Palace which is also known as the Monsoon Palace was built in the year 1884 by Maharaja Sajjan Singh. He was the king of the Mewar Dynasty. The palace overlooks the Fateh Sagar Lake and from the palace one can have the panoramic view of the city and it gorgeous backdrop that includes lakes, palaces, and hills.

Shiv Niwas Palace

Shiv Niwas Palace used to be the official residence of the Maharana of Udaipur and this beautiful palace is located on the banks of Lake Pichola.
