Jaisalmer District is a district of Rajasthan state in western India. The city of Jaisalmer is the administrative headquarters of the district.Jaisalmer, the 'Golden City', epitomises the charm of a sandy desert, along with the royal palaces and fighting camels of Rajasthan.
